There are several Newman’s Own Organics items on sale over at Amazon. These are good prices, but since they are sold in bulk, you really need to know that you like the products. Otherwise, you’d just be wasting money if you bought these & hated them! They are definitely stock up prices on organic snack items such as popcorn, pretzels, & fig newton type cookies, so check it out!

Paper Mate Ball Point Pens $.08 Each! February 25, 2011

Filed under: Amazon — Heather @ 4:14 pm

If your house is anything like my house, you can never find a pen that works when you need one. So when I saw this deal, I was pretty happy about it. Currently over at Amazon, you can purchase a box of 60 Paper Mate Medium Tip Ball Point pens in blue ink for only $4.88! That makes each pen just $.08! They have black ink as well, however that box is $9.13. And if you are an Amazon Mom member, you’ll get free 2 day shipping on this order, as well!

This would be a great deal for any family wAdd Imageith kids in school, if you own a small business, or if you are an independent sales rep for a direct sales company. I know when I used to do in home parties I always needed a ton of pens!

Amazon has been known to change their pricing at any time, so if you want this deal, snag it now.

If you have an Amazon Prime membership like I do, you know how awesome it is. (If you don’t, sign up for Amazon Mom & get a free 3 month Amazon Prime membership.) I really, really, really love Amazon Prime.

Today Amazon announced that Amazon Prime memberships come with a new feature:  unlimited instant streaming of movies & TV shows.  You can instantly watch them on your PC, Mac, or Internet connected TV’s, Blu Ray players, or set top boxes.

I wish it streamed over the Wii like Netflix, because then I could take advantage of this offer. I suppose I could watch on my PC, but that’s not much fun. However, I suppose using a laptop in bed would work if you don’t have a compatible TV or other device!

Regardless, this is an excellent additional benefit to Amazon Prime. Thanks so much, Amazon!

Awesome Amazon Friday Deals February 18, 2011

Every Friday Amazon has their Friday sale & it’s usually a random selection of stuff. Typically you can find at least several options of K Cups for your Keurig, but they haven’t had any the last month or so. However, today there are lots of K Cups, Senseo pods, Earth’s Best, & more. Remember to use the Subscribe & Save option if it’s available to save even more!

Here are a few items I thought were worth checking out:

Heather’s Favorite Stuff February 16, 2011

I thought it would be fun to start a series where once a month I profile some of my favorite products. Don’t get too excited; I’m not a national talk show host, so sadly, I won’t be able to give my favorite things away. However, you might learn about a new product & since I aim to educate my readers about new items, I felt this would be a fun way to do it.

For February, my favorite thing (& my daughter’s!) is Tasty Brand Organic Fruit Snacks. I have talked about these in the past, but if you haven’t tried them, you really must! Here are a few reasons why I big heart love these fruit snacks:
  • They’re USDA certified organic.
  • They have no high fructose corn syrup in them.
  • They are gluten free.
  • There are no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives in these fruit snacks.
  • They are made with real fruit juice.
  • There are only 70 calories per pouch.
  • They’re vegan.
  • They are made in a completely allergen-free facility.

My daughter won’t eat other fruit snacks after trying these. They are soft & yummy instead of hard & weird tasting (yes, I’ve tried them!). These are still a treat in our house, but it’s one I feel OK about giving my daughter.

Tasty Brand just announced today that the fruit snacks are available at Costco warehouses in Southern California & Hawaii. I am praying they will come to Costco locations in Washington soon! If you want to try them & don’t leave in CA or HI, check out the organic section at your local grocery store or snag some from Amazon (they are on sale there). I promise, your kids will thank you!

25% off Pacific Natural Organic Soup February 14, 2011

Amazon has a great deal this month on Pacific Natural soups & broths . Use the Subscribe & Save option to save 15% (you can always cancel) & get free shipping. Then save another 10% when you use the code: PACIFIC7 at checkout. Not all of Pacific Natural products are organic, but I’d say the majority are.

Here’s one great deal: This 24 pk. (8 oz.) of organic free range chicken broth would be just $13.63 after the Subscribe & Save & promo code discounts. That’s just $.57 per 8 oz. bottle! This is definitely a stock up price for organic chicken broth!

If you score a great deal using this promo code, leave a comment letting us know!

54% off Popchips Today Only January 26, 2011

Filed under: Amazon — Heather @ 7:35 am

UPDATE: Use code: JANUPOPS to save an additional 20%. That would make the 24 pack $8.62 (or just 36 cents each!). Thanks, Mama Cheaps.
Today only over at Amazon you can get Popchips up to 54% off. You can get a variety pack of 24 single serving bags for $11.27 using Subscribe & Save (just $.47 per bag!). There are other sizes & varieties available, but my guess is things will start to sell out, so order soon if you want to take advantage of this.

Remember to sign up for Amazon Mom & get free 2 day shipping on any order (no minimum amount) for 3 months!

Seventh Generation Dish Soap $1.78 WYB6 January 24, 2011

This is a stock up price, however I don’t normally stock up on this product (more on that later). Right now over on Amazon you can get 6 bottles of Seventh Generation Free & Clear dish liquid (25 oz) for $10.68 when you choose the Subscribe & Save option. That’s just $1.78 per bottle! You’ll get free 2 day shipping with Amazon Mom, as well!

Now, I’ve stocked up on Seventh Generation liquid dish soap before, & I no longer do so. While I love the product & use it on a daily basis, I’ve found that the liquid gets thick if I have too many bottles sitting around & they get old. So, I only keep 1 or 2 bottles in my kitchen at at time.

This deal is such a good deal though, that it would be worth it to get some friends or family to go in on this together & divide the order up!
