Julius the Monkey Sale at Target Today February 16, 2011

I love Paul Frank’s Julius the Monkey. I just think he’s a great little character & is a nice alternative to the ones we see on every TV show, movie, etc. our kids watch. Today over at Target, all of their Daily Deals are Julius the Monkey items.

There are adult t shirts for $10, 3 piece pj sets for $18, & more. But my favorite deal is the Skurvy comforter set (twin $41.99, full $48.99). How cute is this for a kids bedroom?

My Shopping Trip Today: 90% Savings February 15, 2011

People often think that in order to get great savings you need to buy massive quantities of products. That’s not the case at all! Several items in my stockpile were running low, so I hit Target & Rite Aid today & saved 90%!

The items you see in the above photo would have cost $37.57 if I had paid full price (gasp!). However, I only spent $3.74. I got 100 Finish dish washing tablets, 2 full size deodorants, a full size lotion, & a bar of soap for less than the cost of a mocha!

I don’t know about you, but I’m convinced 90% savings is worth the hour or so I spend clipping & organizing my coupons each week. If you had a great shopping trip lately, leave a comment & let us know about it!

Barbie & Ken Gift Set for only $5! February 13, 2011

UPDATE: Fred Meyer has this same set on sale for $5. However, there is a coupon in the weekly add that takes 10% off “Home” purchases (toys are included), making this just $4.50! Thanks, Andrea!

If you have little ones who love Barbie, you must head to Target this week! Target has a Barbie & Ken gift set on sale for just $5! This deal is good in store & online (although you will pay shipping if you order it online).

This is such a good deal it’s worth considering picking up for a Toys for Tots donation for next Christmas (yes, I think that far ahead!).

Possible Baby Alive Doll $1.24 at Target December 30, 2010

It’s being reported that some Targets have Baby Alive dolls on clearance for $6.24. Use this $5/1 Baby Alive Simple Care for Me coupon & get the doll for $1.24!

Target seems to have no rhyme or reason to how they clearance items across the nation, so YMMV (your mileage may vary) with this deal. Also, you may or may not find the correct Baby Alive deal on clearance.

Why would you want a toy deal so soon after the holidays? Valentine’s Day, Easter, etc. are all coming up. Or stash this away for the inevitable birthday parties your children will get invited to all year long. Or Toys for Tots for next year!
